DOES CHINA AND MIDDLE EAST CONTROL US EDUCATION?

In 1960 the UN approved UNESCO’s Anti-Discrimination Convention, which labeled the U.S. a racist country, telling teachers to train students to be loyal to world, not U.S.

Coincidentally, to destroy the “miserable US culture,” Muslims invaded the country to infiltrate colleges and universities. And the Communist Party USA announced their plan, published in the Congressional Record, to take over America.

In the 1960s globalists, communists and Islamists coalesced under the radical teachings of Herbert Marcuse and Saul Alinsky: be tolerant of progressives, intolerant of conservatives. This led to the slow demise of critical thinking.

In response, Congress passed the Higher Education Act in 1965 which let foreign influences into the education system. Two years later the Department of Education, working with the state DOE’s, began training teachers to teach scientific social engineering to get students to think a certain way about what they were learning. Today that is called indoctrination.

By the 1990s Middle East bias had crept into American classrooms, textbooks, teacher’s workshops and supplemental materials, all of which were rarely reviewed. Saudi Arabia set up Middle East Centers at taxpayer expense to inculcate children and teenagers with pro Islam, anti-Christianity-Judaism, blaming America for all global problems.

In 2006, China created Confucius Centers to spread Chinese propaganda and steal American intellectual property. While the program was meant to be reciprocal, the CCP never allowed American Cultural Centers in China.

Then came a reconstituted Common Core where President Obama brought Islam into classroom. Common Core was part of One World Education developed by the Qatar Foundation. He turned over curriculum development to Qatar Foundation International (QFI), the Washington-based branch of the parent foundation and funded by Qatar, Libya and Saudi Arabia.

China and many nations of the Middle East view the United States and its democratic ideals – with Israel as its spearhead – as the biggest threat to their form of rule. Consequently, Chinese and Muslim journalism unions or entities have signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) on what narrative to use on Western society. Also the Chinese United Front has spent nearly $3 billion to influence American universities, academic presses, think tanks and over 100 members of Congress.

As a result, this China-Middle East coalition has a formidable network on American soil: 800 Muslim Student Associations; 130 Middle East Study Centers; 109 renamed Confucius Centers in universities; and 519 Confucius Classrooms in 143 school districts across the country. This network relies heavily on Pearson Education which provides 40 – 60% of American history and civics textbooks, replete with identity politics and the oppressor-oppressed narrative.

Schools at any level are supposed to report foreign donations of $250,000 or more. However, since 2021 there have been far fewer reports but donations have swelled by over 50 percent to $22 billion. While some colleges whine they can’t continue without this foreign funding, most of the money goes to the richest colleges and universities with the largest endowments.
Should foreign money be allowed to fund our colleges and universities? If not where should these institutions target cuts to ensure their survival?
